I finally got to adding the lyrics from SOUND SOLDIER! including the Japan bonus track GIRL LIKE ME. I also added NEW songs to the music player on your left! So I hope you enjoy those. I'm hoping to have a new layout soon as well! There's a lot I want to do with the site still, but I just haven't had the time, but with summer coming up hopefully I'll be able to update the site as much as possible! INROCK Japan Article!
Hey!
This is my first "Sound Soldier Journal" from INROCK magazine in JAPAN-it was printed when sound soldier was released in Japan!

I miss JAPAN! I have been thinking of the land of the rising sun ever since I last visited. I am so happy to share with you my second record "Sound Soldier." It's taken me a while to write, but I've learned a lot and grown so much. I've explored the spectrum of my music tastes and experimented with life and love and music. I put it all together and created the "Skye Sound". I call it a bit of pop-hop, hip-rock, grunge, ska, dance, punk and funk. But it wasn't so easy… there was a lot of hard work and determination that goes into making a record, especially one that has to live up to all of my expectations. And I expect it to break my personal musical boundaries as well as the walls that the critics try to box me in to. I wouldn't settle for anything less than awesome and that's why it has taken me over 60 songs to find the perfect sound for "Sound Soldier."
